How Intense Are The Rosacea Flare-Ups?
The intensity of a sufferer’s flare-up is another key point that must be considered when evaluating the type of treatment that is appropriate for you. This study showed that over 50% classified their rosacea flare-ups as being moderate in intensity, while 12% believed them severe. A total of 32% felt that their outbreaks were in the mild range.
So, how did the respondents control their rosacea symptoms? 83% stated that rosacea treatments combined with avoiding their rosacea triggers effectively controlled their symptoms. Seeing that there is no cure for this skin disorder, it would certainly appear that a proactive approach to controlling symptoms is your best method to address your rosacea flare-ups.
