Is It Rosacia, Roscea or Rosacea?

It is incorrectly called rosacae, roseca, roseaca, rosacia and a host of other names, but the correct spelling of this socially disruptive skin disorder is r-o-s-a-c-e-a.
You will also hear this skin affliction called acne rosacea because its symptoms (i.e. pimples, pustules, whiteheads) closely resembling the widespread skin affliction called Acne Vulgaris, which translated is ‘common acne.’ However rosacia is something totally different . This skin disorder primarily attacks the facial skin and is characterized by times of skin aggravation followed by a period of remission. A primary difference from acne is that rosacea generally begins after the age of 30 and can be “caught” by men and women well into their late 40’s.
