Incidence Of Rosacea Symptoms Increase Dramatically

The National Rosacea Society is now estimating that over 16 million Americans are suffering from the symptoms and effects of rosacea, with millions more being in temporary remission. While these statistics are shocking in themselves, they most likely underestimate the true number of rosacea sufferers.
Even with the rosacea treatments and proper skin care having helped millions of Americans with their symptoms, the increase in the aging population has resulted in an increase of this chronic skin condition over the past 10 years. Keep in mind that rosacea can occur at any age, but it is most prevalent for those reaching middle age.
